Mrs. Rhonda Petro

HELLO! 

 My name is Rhonda Petro.  I'm a native Texan, born and raised in the Houston area.  My husband, Mike, and I have five children, five grandchildren, and seven "grand-dogs".  Our children have all attended Christian schools and Christian Universities.  What a blessing!  Our oldest son, Tyler, and his wife, Nichole, live in California.  Alyssa, our only daughter, and her husband, Tyler, live in Houston.  Our son, Sam, and his wife, Nell,  live in Austin.  Nick lives in Porter, and Chase still lives at home.    He is a sophomore at Concordia Lutheran High School.  

Our beautiful grandchildren are absolute gifts from God!  Their names are Rory , Reese, Ryan, Reddin James, and Penelope .  

Being a grandparent is so much fun!!!!!  

I have been a teacher in Christian education for 26 years.  I retired in 2024, but I didn't enjoy it very much. So, I began to substitute here at Trinity.  I loved every minute!!!  I enjoyed it so much that I decided to return to the classroom.   TKLS was gracious enough to allow me the opportunity to do just that.   Now, I get the wonderful privilege of spending fourth grade with your precious children. 

As far as interests and hobbies......who has time???  In my free time, I'm at the baseball field cheering on Chase or playing with the grands.
