HELLO! 

 My name is Rhonda Petro.  I'm a native Texan, born and raised in the Houston area.  My husband, Mike, and I have five children, four granddaughters, and five "grand-dogs".  Our children have all attended Christian schools and Christian Universities.  What a blessing!  Our oldest son, Tyler, and his wife, Nichole, live in Austin.  Alyssa, our only daughter, and her husband, Tyler, live in Houston.  Our son, Sam, and his wife, Nell,  live in Colorado.  Nick lives in Spring, and Chase still lives at home.  He is a freshman at Concordia Lutheran High School.  

Our beautiful granddaughters are absolute gifts from God!  Their names are Rory (5), Reese (2), Ryan (9mo), and Penelope (11mo).  Being a grandparent is so much fun!!!!!  

I have been a teacher in Christian education for 25 years.  I retired in 2024, but I didn't enjoy it very much. So, I began to substitute here at Trinity.  I loved every minute!!!  I enjoyed it so much, I decided I wanted to return to the classroom.  TK was gracious enough to allow me the opportunity to do just that.  Now, I get the wonderful privilege of spending fourth grade with your precious children. 

As far as interests and hobbies......who has time???  In my free time, I'm at the baseball field cheering on Chase or playing princess with the grands.  BEST LIFE EVER!!
